Review Text

Given the eminence of the authors, you might expect a rather high-brow academic tome but this is a highly accessible book. It is suitable for undergraduates who are either studying psychology, or completing education / childhood studies modules concerned with memory and learning. It also provides a good general over-view of the field for anyone wanting a quick refresher course in recent thinking. It is so well written that A level students and people with a general interest in the subject would find it readable and entertaining. Final tip - make sure you get the second edition, psychological research moves fast and elements of the first edition are now outdated.

Written clearly by the leading experts in this field. What's missing is a chapter on procedural memory. Recommended for people who want to have a broad view of memory.Smadar Sapir Yogev
